An outstanding large Edwardian solitaire diamond ring set in platinum.

Dating from circa 1910 this ring features a beautiful large 2.8ct Old European cut diamond to the centre.  The central diamond has an incredibly bright sparkle which catches the light at every angle – which we love to see in great examples of these antique hand cut diamonds.  It is assessed as K colour and VS clarity.

The large Old Cut is secured in the original handcrafted platinum setting, with intricate ornate filigree detail and openwork throughout.  The detailed gallery and shoulders of the ring are set with smaller diamonds, which make for an exceptionally eye catching piece. The ring has an estimated  total diamond carat weight of 3.5cts.
