An antique diamond set ring in 18k gold.

This ring features three small old diamonds set in 18k gold, each with a star pattern surrounding the stone. The face of this ring has nice width across the finger for a substantial look. The old cut diamonds weigh a combined 0.08cts. This style of ring was a popular gift in Victorian times, as the star motif symbolised good luck and the diamonds represent eternal love.

This is a nice ring, and would be a wonderful additional to any jewellery collection! With crisp Birmingham hallmarks for 1905, this ring is 120 years old and in excellent condition. The inside of the band is stamped ‘W.L’, most likely corresponding with ‘Willian Lewis’, a manufacturing jeweller of Rosebury Avenue, Birmingham.
