A stunning Art Deco emerald and diamond dress clip, crafted in 18k gold and platinum.

This dress clip has a beautiful form, with clean, straight lines to the centre and curved scrolled edges to each side. Four emeralds are set to the centre of the piece, with two emerald cuts to the top of the piece separated by a line of diamonds set vertically, and two square cuts to the centre – all with exceptionally bright and vivid colour. The central square cut emerald is an impressive 1.33cts, surrounded by beautifully bright diamonds to each side, set in flowing platinum scrolls which join together.

This is an incredibly versatile piece of jewellery, worn as a clip brooch or it can be suspended from a chain and worn as a pendant as illustrated in the attached images –  making a wonderfully bright, statement pendant.

This piece has a diamond carat weight of 1.0ct, a combined emerald weight of 2.4cts and was made between 1920 and 1940 at the very latest. The clip measures approximately 28mm in length and 20mm at the widest point.
