Description

Description: Presented here is a fine George III Irish silver gravy boat.  It has a charming repoussé scene of birds and flowers.  The gravy boat is raised on three hoofed feet. A cartouche is located under the spout with a coat of arms engraved design. The sauce boat is hallmarked although the date mark is rubbed as is typical.

The heavy gauge of silver and the wonderful design lifts this above other sauce boats of its time.
